The Preteen Ministry at First Baptist Church is different and unique to anything our preteens have experienced in Sunday School before. Our preteens are preteens, not children and not youth. They are special and unique and we have created “PRETEEN CITY” just for them – a place that is fun, dynamic, exciting, and where God’s Word is taught, investigated, and acted upon. Our GRAPPLE lessons help our preteens make the connection between Bible stories they have known for years and how they are relevant in our preteen’s lives today.

At FBC, our preteens are loved and valued with age-appropriate activities organized to prepare them for leadership. They are given responsibility, minister in our church and in our community, interact with their peers, and are growing deeper spiritually.
The Preteen leaders are strong Christian role models, dedicated, faithful, loving, caring, and devoted to our preteens in teaching them God’s Truth. They desire that our preteens have a personal, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to guide them toward that goal.
